It meant that I would be further away from the event, from seeing him, from HIM. But you are right... it goes with time. I think it's easier to remember these lessons (that we don't have to do anything, that it is what it is) when we are not going through the event. But how do I remind myself of these lessons when wrapped up in an event? It's usually when I need them most that I need to be reminded of them.
